Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the best age to start lessons?

There’s something for everyone at Faberge Follies, so the best age is NOW. If you’re a busy parent juggling many responsibilities – then try to get your child into lessons by the time they’re in elementary school. Younger is better, however, if you have the time.

Besides the lessons, what else does it cost to
come to Faberge Follies?

You’ll need dancewear for the classroom. If you do shows with us (and we hope you will!) you’ll need a costume. That’s it!

What happens if I miss a class?

If you miss a lesson because of weather, holiday, or illness, take a make-up class!  There are many to choose from.  So, you don’t have to lose any value or any instruction.

Is there a Dress Code?

Yes. Dressing properly is part of the education. It promotes discipline and equality. Younger children all wear the same outfit for each particular class. Older children have general rules to govern their wardrobe. Adults dress at their own discretion.

Do you go to competitions?

Competition is an “extra” activity that you can sign up for – if you want. It’s optional.
