FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What’s the best age to start lessons?

"NOW' is the best age.  Younger is better; but, it's never too late.

If you’re a busy parent juggling many responsibilities - then try to get your child into lessons by the time they’re in elementary school. If you have more time, then start in Pre-School.

Teen beginners are welcome.  All the lessons teach personal development as well as dance & gymnastics; so, teenagers will benefit, too.

Besides the lessons, what else does it cost to come to Faberge Follies?

You’ll need dancewear (leotard, tights, shoes) for the classroom. Our "starter kits" range from $69-95.  They include everything you'll need.

If you do shows with us (and we hope you will!) you’ll need a costume. That’s it!

If you sign up to be in extra shows, that'll cost a little more.  The amount varies.

What happens if I miss a class?

If you miss a lesson for any reason take a make-up class!  There are many to choose from.  So, you don't have to lose any value or any instruction.

Is there a Dress Code?

Yes. Dressing properly is part of the education. It promotes discipline and equality. Younger children all wear the same outfit for each particular class. Older children have general rules to govern their wardrobe. Adults dress at their own discretion.

Do you go to competitions?

Competition is an “extra” activity that you can sign up for - if you want. It’s optional...and it's fun.
